Ordered a region 1 dvd box set (3 dvds) from dvd soon at the start of the month, release date was today. Item is showing as in packing so if they send if tomorrow, lets say, whats my chances of getting this item before Christmas?
Not that I want it as a Xmas present just want to watch it over the holiday season.

I`ve found that DVDs take 7-10 days with DVD Soon`s standard shipping.

Last thing I ordered from dvdsoon went from `in stock` at time of ordering to `pre-order` for a week. Then something like
in transit on order six inches by four on hand sitting next to packer packaging (for a week, no joke)
and was despatched 4 weeks after I placed the order. Don`t hold your breath unless you have big lungs. You might get lucky though.

I was only counting time from despatch - items can be `packing` for over a week so if the item has only just moved from `pending` to `packaging` then you`ll be very lucky to see it this year.

The last box set I received from DVDSoon was shipped on 18th November. I got a card in my door on 9th December telling me I had a parcel which had customs charges. Therefore, it had been 2 days from Canada to London and then 19 days from London to Northern Ireland. I wasn`t happy !!!

I received a disc from them today that was sent on 8 December, and 4 discs yesterday that were shipped on 7 December. Each had been in packaging for at least 4 days before that.
On that evidence I doubt that any order shipped after Friday will be there by Christmas, and any item shipped after next Tuesday will probably arrive in the New Year.
Also any item not already in packaging will almost certainly arrive after Christmas and probably in the New Year.

ok i have a big problem with this bloody title.
dvdsoon is in canada. not usa. it`s a DIFFERENT BLOODY COUNTRY. not to mention the fact that most americans do not know where canada is.
to me, it`s like asking whether an englishman is from scotland and vice bloody versa. so get it right.
