Thank you so much for great deal. Printer has got some good and some bad reviews, doesn`t come with usb lead (cheap enough). You buy the printer at £34.41 then send voucher by 13th April 2008 to recieve £20 back.

My friend just paid £40 for similar machine in Curry`s. I ordered this one, my gf been after photo printer.

external hard drive Help Please

Just brought a 250 gig external hard drive for £47 ebuyer but instructions are mimial, so advice would be appreciated.

The hard drive doesn`t have an off switch, so when I turn the computer off does that mean I can cut the power to the hard drive from the plug socket or do I have to do something else. Can I leave it plugged into the usb (which is at the back of computer on mine) all the time even if hard drive power off and computer is on?

When I try to release the drive when computer is on, just keeps coming up saying drive in use cannot disconnect try later, hence turning computer off.

Don`t want wreck the drive, so how do people of the forum turn thier external hard drives off.

Can anyone direct me to LEGAL movie download sites, either that are public domain or "not in copywright" i.e. made by other internet uses and posted up. Been trying search via google with no hope

Typical ebay mate they don`t care they rather get thier percentage on the £50 then the 99p. People are always breaking ebay`s rules and policies and ebay sit back and let them do it. Look at the amount of illegal stuff on ebay.

Makes u feel better I won 3 tickets to a show for £20 and the woman refused to sell them to me. all ebay/paypal do is refund your money they can`t force them to sell it. Ebay close thier account but they soon open another one.

RE: Screenselect - Bad service and poor value for money

Just had a problem with lovefilms "fast trax" system where you tag a dvd you want and they guarantee to send it to you as long as your have no dvds out or return outstanding dvds within 48 hours. So I tagged the new Pink Floyd Pluse on fast trax and made sure my two outstanding dvds were back. On Thursday morning my account showed that I had no dvd`s out and had two dvds tagged on fast trax. They didn`t send them out, so on Friday the fast trax dvds went back in my queque and I lost out.

I emailed them and they emailed me back to confirm they had sent two discs from my queque out not the ones I tagged as fast trax.

They are suppose to be an "unlimited" dvd company but under thier fair use policy if you got 2 dvds a time, you won`t get more then 4 dvds a week they "delay" sending your dvds out for a day and thier system shows that they do it. Trade description acts please it`s not unlimited it`s limited by thier policies.

Just reported lovefilm to the Advertising Standards Agency for false advertising. For advertising an "unlimited" rental system when it is restricted by thier policies. How can it be unlimited then?

I thought the RSPCA was meant to protect and help animals not to kill them.

As for the "law" that tells you to kill an animal rather then release it, surely killing an animal comes under cruelty, if you kill your dog you charged with cruelty but just because them are deemed as pests your encouraged to kill them. But should we be surprised, no, this is the same law that allows people who are given "life" to be released within 6 years.

These are creatures that probably have a family like us, have kids like us and their only crime is to try and survive and live, like most the Humans on this plant which every day are destroying it. I thinking culling is a cruel and inhumane act, would you cull humans just because there are to many on the plant.

The way they act towards humans is probably a reaction to how cruel some humans are to them, can u blame them!

They killed and tourted enough animials on drug testing but once it`s a human it`s big news. What about all the millions of poor animials who are cruelly killed each year for this cause no one takes a blind bit of notice. I disgree with animal and human testing there has to be an alternative and I hope this mix up will help to change the laws. I don`t want my life at the cost of millions of animials let nature take it`s course.

Won`t it be nice to go to a pub to enjoy a band or have a quiet drink then not having to shower when you get in because all your clothes hair etc smell of fags or even have to leave early because the smoke is affecting your eyes.

Wife has long hair and she went to pub the other night and didn`t shower before she come to bed and her hair still stunk and I mean stunk of cigs the next morning and neither of us smoke.

You can pay via paypal (via XROST Prepaid iCards) and you can also choose the bitrate you download on, so if you download speech you can download low bitrate and its cheaper. I`ve used it (downloaded to hard drive then ipod) and found it a good service, but you need to make your own mind up regarding if its legal.

Got a sharp dvd/ hard drive recorder and it regullarly changes its clock time. Try finding a forum for your brand of dvd recorder may take a while but found one for mine and find it very handy as these things do have a mind of thier own.

You can get free dvds with the Daily Mail all detective Dvds but you need to collect them from WH Smiths. Todays is Cracker and still got 2 weeks to go

Last time tried to "rip" a dvd it took a lot longer then couple hours and suggested ebay as an alternative to this, you keep the films you have destroy the others. It is techinally illegal to get around copyright protection on a dvd as well, though it is considered ok to do this for backup purposes, but not legal to do this.
