For the sake of saving a couple of quid compared to the customer service, support and policies in place at Amazon - never again. Just couldn't be arsed with it.

" You mean like the 45 minute phone call I'm still involved in because the £200 combined item delivery for today I was waiting for just updated an hour ago to say " 14:40 Signature from Customer" ?
Funny that, CCTV on the house shows NO ONE anywhere near at any time in the afternoon exceot the one car that stopped at the end of the driveway then drove off again 10 minutes later with no one getting out... which wasn't at 14:40 anyway.
Apparently sending a replacement and guess what..... it'll be the same courier.
That'll be my final amazon order for anything other than single discs etc from now one.

Why, do Amazon have their own couriers now? Was it Yodel by any chance?
And they're shipping a replacement without getting the other back? Yeah, s*** service that. Try getting that in many other places. They actually refunded me £165 last week before receiving the return. That was returned at their cost, not mine.

" Only due to the fact I was on the phone over an hour AND have told them I have CCTV evidence of non delivery. What they actually wanted to do was have me wait in for 48 hours in case it was an error, followed by check with all the neighbours in my street, followed again by checking any other place it may have been left. It was only when I started digging my heels in and stating my next call after it would be to the local Police that she then asked me to hold and said they would deliver replacement and talk to Hermes themselves. (BTW this is a situation that could have been speeded up or possibly resolved easier if they allow direct customer contact with Hermes but you have to ring amazon instead.)
Also if they gave the option of another courier/delivery Iwould happily have taken that, and might in the future use the collection from local pick up point.. otherwise it'll be RM items only.
I did get a parcel today from yodel with absolutely no problems, it was in the period I *was* out and the driver checked with a neighbour to ask if they would take it for me. Mind you, he didn't leave a card or anything to tell me where it was so lucky I have an honest neighbour and saw it on the cameras Lol.
