The X Files The Complete Collection £51.97

The X Files The Complete Collection DVD box set is available to pre-order from Amazon for £51.97, which is a 74% discount on the RRP. The set will be released on the 12 December 2007.
Amazon had this box set briefly discounted to £69.97 last month before putting it back up to £199.99, so be quick and get your order in!

Sorry, it will be in stock on December 12, 2007 rather than a pre-order. It was released 19 Nov 2007.

I paid twice this price less than 12 months ago!

Pft. That looks so much better than what I already have. :(

I`m now debating whether to sell my sets now in the free ads (hoping to get a non-Internet-using buyer) at like a tenner each to buy that or wait for the inevitable 15 year (:o) anniversary set including the second film (which I`m scared will be w*** and will ruin all my good memories (looking at you Phantom Menace and Battle Royale 2.... :( ) and hopefully more commentaries and retrospectives and stuff, and sell them then.

Pft, I say! :D

Worked well for me a few months ago, got about £12 back on 3 DVD`s i`d bought. Wish i`d spotted this thread earlier though, £52 for a nice box set would have been too good to refuse even though i have already got the individual boxsets from a few years ago..

They did this to me twice on the `On The Buses` DVD set. No way is it a mistake - its a way to phish for customer emails etc etc.
I did all that I could to make my anger felt but to no avail. So now do not use them.

Agreed mbilko, I have done the same. Luckily I have not spent quite as much with them as you have. I use quite a few sources for my collection, but potentially I could have spent quite a lot more with them. I`ve spent close to £1000 on DVD`s just in the past month, but Amazon won`t be seeing anymore of my money.
