Everyone knows that Supermarkets have offers on every week.

What to watch out for is when one week they have `100% Free` items and, the following week, they have `Buy 1 Get 1 Free` on the same item.

This happens a lot at some Supermarkets and on the second week you can get `4 for the price of 1` when they do their offers this way around.

I worked in a well known supermarket for years and I can honestly say I never saw a offer that worked out as 4-for-1.

Can anyone point me in the direction of the supermarkets giving away 100% free items please...it would be a great help with my weekly shop....LOL :D Ive seen many BOGOF and 3 for 2 offers but never anything that says `take me Im free` ...unless you count the free samples on the deli counter.... :p

I always go for the buy nothing, get nothing offers, as they are always 100% Free.

This is not a specific bargain of course , but what toogoodtobetrue is trying to point out is the following (and although I am a male 8) , I do most of the family shoping and have seen similar examples) :
A supermarket is selling a product , say cornflakes , in a special promotional pack with 100% free.
The next week , they are selling the same product on BOGOF but with the same promotional packs (usually mixed in with the normal stock).
Therefore , you get 2 promotional packs each with 100% extra for the price of one normal pack - 4 for 1 - QED - I`m off for me lunch !!

Yeah that`s how I read it. As in 100% extra free (obviously not completely free!)

I don`t know where the specific bargain is here though, as it seems more like a general piece of advice.
