RE: Another free dvd in Saturdays Mirror
Yep, I`ll be on that... ;) :)
It`s only a point of view...
RE: Another free dvd in Saturdays Mirror
Shall I reply really mood-ily (?!) like someone always does and say "I don`t see why I should have to walk down to Blockbusters to pick it up" or "why can`t they put it in the magazine like the other papers do?" or something similar......?
Nah!
I grab that too!
Nice one for the heads up
Rob
RE: Another free dvd in Saturdays Mirror
This DVD was inside the paper in Scotland last Saturday - no coupons, no vouchers, no visit to Virgin/Woollies etc. it was included in the paper in a cardboard cover. You never know they might do the same elsewhere.
You can`t beat a good bargain !!!
RE: Another free dvd in Saturdays Mirror
Yep, the ad said "inside" the paper...Makes a nice change ;)
RE: Another free dvd in Saturdays Mirror
Wow! Actually inside the paper for a change.
It`s not free for `every reader` if it`s not with the paper. And anyway 4 people read our paper so does that mean 4 copies?
It`s a pain when you find out you have to get it from Blockbuster (which for me is a 150 mile round trip) which would make it cheaper to buy off the internet.
Next week it`ll be:
" Free TV for every reader * " * Must collect in person from shop in Tokyo!

Duh - only if you buy 4 papers !!
RE: Another free dvd in Saturdays Mirror
"Duh - only if you buy 4 papers !!"
The only reason I raised the point was because these papers carry no such terms and conditions when advertising on TV, stating that it is only one free copy per paper. They use the term every reader, which is very ambiguous (seeing as you actually use the word "Duh" I`ll explain that it means vague) therefore they could potentially get into legal wrangles, although it would be highly improbable that anyone would actually argue this in a court of law.
Anyway, done with this thread now, so don`t bother turning this into a "flame" war.
