Long fruitless walk trying to find a copy of the Mirror... the late bird gets plenty of exercise, but no worm. :(
And I can`t follow the link to the other thread - is it just me?

Actually ,its a bit less than that. The next DVD is `Muriel`s Wedding` for which the first token is in today`s paper. Also there is a token to get the Sunday Mirror tomorrow for 40p and during the week it costs 32p.
So it`s either 5 x 32p or 4 x 32p plus 40p , both plus 60p postage (hope you are keeping up at the back of the class ;) ) equals £2.20 or £2.28 (£2.65 or £2.73 if you count the 45p for today`s paper).
For each DVD , you have to collect 6 different numbered tokens from 9 printed.
The other DVDs in the following weeks (Face Off , Enemy of The State , Good Will Hunting) would cost about the same depending on which combination of papers you bought (Sunday Mirror costs 75p without a token and you have to ensure that you get the issue of the paper that has the collector coupon for each DVD).
Phew - here endeth `The Art of Zen and Newpaper Buying In Order To Get Cheap DVDs.
It also says that the SAE you send (with 60p worth of stamps on it) has to be A4 size.
Given the size of the envelope and the amount of postage , could it be too much to hope that the DVDs will be in `proper` cases , rather than cardboard sleeves (or is the extra just to cover a whole load of junk mail to be added) ?
P.S. was it possible to buy a paper today without a free DVD , CD or holiday ? (not that I`m complaining)

I got my copy but half way throug the film it pixelates then final stops - DVD looks misty under the lacker coating, not good.
Transfer is watchable upto that point, but zoom in 1.5x and you can see the pixels so not anamorphic.

To the G Man - where is the voucher for a 40p Sunday Mirror? In my edition (ooop North one) I can`t find it but it says tomorrow`s Sunday Mirror token is worth 2 daily vouchers... BUT on page 80 of Saturday`s Mirror there are T&C which say that there are 200,000 DVDs and so are subject to availabilty. I`m not sure if this is a lot or not But it does mean you could get nothing.
PS. A big `not impressed` with the Daily Mail who have been running a similar offer over the last few months and have also had a 60p postage and package charge on their `collect token free DVD`s` as they have decided this month to increase the postage and packing charge to £2.50 and in my view decrease the quality of the DVDs they are offering.

I`ve not bothered with DMail`s offer this month for the same reasons, I got Fish call Wanda, but I`m still waiting for last months Shallow Grave
RE: FREE DVD OF CABARET WITH TODAYS DAILY MIRROR
Searcher , the coupon for 40p Sunday Mirrror is on page 23 of my Daily Mirror , but I am in London so maybe it is a regional thing.
The Mirror often puts these vouchers in , especially at the start of one of their `long term` promotions (such as this current DVD thing).
Actually , I had forgotten that the Sunday Mirror token counted as two when calculating the `cost` of the `free` DVD (but I ain`t even going to get into that again :) )
