I no that not everyone likes Splash but I`ve used them a lot and never had a problem,

I got the email as well, but I don`t like the new site, it looks awful compared to how it was. Just my opinion.

They have done the usual of putting up the prices of items over £20 (I think).

Lord of the Rings - Two Towers 4 disc special ediction, now £25.13, with the voucher makes it £20.13, which I think is now the cheapest on pre-order?

I got the email and will probably make use of the offer as I`ve bought from Splash many times before with no problems. I just thought I`d give credit where it`s due before the nay-sayers start hijacking the thread to vent their spleens about bad experiences they`ve had with this company (I sympathise but that`s what the retailer reviews forum is for, guys).

Might be tempted to go for Led Zep at £21.60 less £5.00. I wonder how often you can use the discount.

..bound to be just the once, as they`re sure to check email addresses and delivery addresses and names....

mind you, I notice they`re doing PC games now (probably have done for a while) and it`s about time I introduced myself to something new.

I have never used Splash before but thought I would give it a go to take advantage of the £5 voucher.

However it asks you to enter your credit card details at the same time as the redemption voucher.

How do I know whether it will deduct the £5?

On CD-Wow etc you redeem the voucher before you give them your credit card details.

Am I being too cautious? Based on others experiences, probably not

Just be Warned I Had To Contact Jersey Trading Standards To Get Them To Refund Me For Three Separate Orders.

I Had To Wait Over A Month Before I Contacted T Standards.
If It Were Not For Them Visiting Splash I Would Still Be Waiting For My Refund Now.

They Don`t Answer Emails.
Definitely the Worst Retailer I Have Ever Had Experience With Without Question.

Make Your Own Minds Up Though, This Is Only My Experience.

Once you`ve entered your credit card details and the coupon code, confirm and it does redeem £5 from your order. I`ve pre-ordered Hulk and LOTR:TT CE (as separate orders) and received £5 off both.

I`ve been lucky with Splash and had emails promptly dealt with as well as getting refunds and sorting out returns. No complaints from me.
