RE: Remember that wee digital videocmera from John Lewis?
How good is this? Anyone got one?
RE: Remember that wee digital videocmera from John Lewis?
Its a great little gaget, only problem is the LCD screen backlight eats batteries alive so best to use the viewfinder if filming or taking photos and use the screen for preview only, recommend at least a 64 mb Compact Flash Card to store your video & photos on in case the batteries go flat on you and you won`t lose any data, connects to PC via USB finished output on CD-R looks in between VCD and SVHS quaility looks nice on a TV, software provided offers basic editing and photo retouching, very good DVD/VCD menu authoring software included for the novice though....

Fun it is indeed! Nice still pics, only really useful for video in the day though. I`m glad i bought mine :)

Same here...I ,too, am glad I bought one (well...girlfriend bought it actually, so I`m glad she bought one!).
It`s a good little camera for the price, but like Rob says it is only useful in daylight...or very brightly lit rooms.

thats the old model IMO it looks nicer build wise, but only has a 3min storage capicity in its built in memory and no way to expand it with CF cards so if the batteries die on you, your lose all your photos and videos...
