I once came here every day, but silly threads about wasp invasions, childish polls (like the current one) among other things made spend my forum time in the dvdforums

To be honest, this place has its own clique as well, so I find it interesting that accusation is pointed at other forums.

thedvdforums having such a large number of users make it much easier (and quicker) to get a question answered, a good debate going, an excellent bargain forum, a vast classified section. etc. etc.

He worked here in same office as me. (introduced me to these forums, i showed him the dvdforums! :p )l got his desk, PC and a packet of jaffa cakes left over. There was someone on here he always wanted me to wind up (cant remember who).

This was once a good site, but has been going downhill for a long time and feels like its dying.

The weather is good. I went in Jan in 98. Nice and warm. Very hot some days, a bit cooler on others. A good mixture. You will love it! Friendly people, good attractions, loas to buy!

Any tips?

Buy an extra bay for the amount of things you buy!

Euro Disney is great!

I went in `95 and thought it amazing. I would love to return, but its way too expensive. It actually works out cheaper to go to Disney World Florida for 2 weeks than 10 nights in Paris!! So I go there now (will be returning in January)

Your kids should be alright for every ride as I guess they will be tall enough. Trust me, once you go there you will be looking at booking Florida/California!! Start saving.....

TBH, I cannot say anything against her. I may not like her, but the fact that she has chosen not to clear JL name speaks volumes.

I don`t see why she would refuse to clear his name if he is innocent (in her eyes)

She MUST be convinved he is guilty.

If she indeed was raped by the accused, people on here are very low to be calling her names.

Asian, if you post was not aimed at me, ignore the rest.

Since I mentioned SWM and stated it was poor in places (it is, proves once again Americans have no understanding of N.Ireland!) and didn`t notice anyone else say any such thing.

I said nothing about the presidential elections in Moore`s book, and did not disagree with any part there. I have never tried to put my head, or anything else up my arse. And I don`t believe any crap fed out to me.

But then I don`t take SWM as the Gospel some people do, either. Its good in part, but like Bowling, poor in other places.

So again to make myself clear, if you are not referring to me, ignore what I have said, and this post has been a waste of time, but I have nothing else to do here in work.

You are obviously a firm believer in Stupid White Men. And the book goes to almost painful lengths explaining, Bush actually got less votes than Al Gore. (Well, mre or less) So really, America did not vote him in office. But none of this matters because you, in your own words:

I have also read Stupid White Men. Its good in parts, but is extremely poor in other places. Bowling for Columbine is the same. Michael Moore`s has a knack of twisting the truth. But I can see why you like him as he seems to enjoy running down his government.

Its not hypocritical at all.

You do not understand the culture of Iraq, or its people.

They were told during the war by "comical" Ali, they were winning, they had been lied to by their government for years and ruled with an iron fist.

They NEEDED to see the bodies of the men. Just look at the news reports, the Iraqi people thought nothing wrong with seein the dead. It is natural for them.

Because people do not like Bush/the US government etc, they will go on the attack.

People seem to think Iraq is a country where everyone has internet in their homes, and 10 television news channels.

They TRIED to capture them, but correctly did not take the risk of further casualties, and just fired on the house. Yeah, it would have been good to capture them, but at the risk of more American lives? I don`t think so. The commander in charge of the operation made the right choice. If they don`t give up, then accept death.

A few made up examples. I am at a football match watching Aston Villa* and Dion Dublin is having a poor game:

Someone shout you

"You black bastard, youre s***!"

As far as I know, this can get you banned for life at clubs. Not because you swear, but you use the word "black".

If the player was call a "You bald bastard, youre s***!"

Nothing would happen.

Are whites so paranoid about offending black people?

Are blacks so sensitive about the colour of their skin?

What about people who are bald? Their feelings could be hurt. Is one group more important than another?

Its a free country and we have free speech. Insane Muslims can say what they want about this country and government and nothing happens.







*I dont support/like/hate Villa, they are just one of the teams who make up the numbers and don`t do anything. Dublin is a slightly above average player. All IMHO.
