Thanks guys for the advice still having same prob will play fine on computer but not stereo. did try above in nero burning rom 6 also tried nero express and cd burner xp pro all do the same .i am new to all this so assuming im doing something wrong the disk is a intenso cd-rw. i have heard a lot of people have the same problem that disk only plays on comp not stereo what else could it be its driving me mad. :(

hi there , im a beginner here so please excuse my ignorance im trying to burn some music on my hard drive to cdr using nero express 6 i add file and it burns but only plays on pc not my stereo what am i doing wrong? would be grateful for any help thank you JD ;)

i wonder if anyone has had the same problem i recently have been having probs burning dvd media it says disks not big enough file size was 4.4gb trying to put on new disk thats 4.7. when i put mouse over the dvd icon it told me the disk was 4.37gb. so i tried another disk the same thing happened thought i had a dodgy batch so sent them back. i just went out and bought a different companys dvd media and the same thing is happening the computer is only reading the disk as 4.37, can any one help im confused?????????????????????? :/

:/ :/ i ave only recently bought a computer and have had a lot of probs with viruses and spyware. sorry for my stupidity but new to all this . does ad-ware work like norton anti virus does it block and stop them getting on to the computer.i read and article that said it did but when i downloaded the free download i think it only scan and cleans once there allready on there is there a way to stop them gettin on there in the first place. if not how often should you do a scan . does it mean that the spyware could get my credit card details if i aint done a scan and repaired b4 i use my credit card. did look at info on net but some is to advanced for me. thanks for any help from a learner.

win dvd no picture but seems to play

i have had anightmare the last couple of days burning still no joy i was told to upgrade nero done that also tried cd burner xp pro. i ave now given up went to put original dvd on with dvd win which i have used before with no probs but it seems to play the disk but no picture has anyone else had this prob is there a silly button some where that i have knocked? or is it anything to do with having new burn software on computer,please can any one help seem to be getting one prob after another. >:( >:( >:(

fri 13th everythings going wrong.download new nero trial but burn button is greyed out cant use

i have been aving probs since 10 am this morning trying to solve probs with burning told to upgrade my nero which i did i lost my original in the processs as writes over and new trial dont work burn button stays grey cant use. i ave noticed a lot of people on web getting same problem with button does anyone know how to solve this?.is there a way also of getting my original back i ave serial code but lost disk have been searhing net all night fo down load they are all newer ones. would be very grateful for advice sick of looking on nero site and other help sites no one gets back to you. thanks jane

firstly thanks to wayne6765 and harry66 for your last lot of help. i was experencin probs with using dvd shrink when using built in burner. my pc would play it but not dvd player. was kindly informed to try using nero to burn not shrink tryed that now neither my pc or player will play it. this is more difficult than i thought . i made sure it was not the disk by going back to dvd x copy and using same rewritable disk no problems it would play so cant be disc can anyone help. thanks jane

>:( i am very new to all this i was using dvd x copy express which was very straight forward and played on my dvd player, but no menus so was told to use dvd shrink, i did find this a bit cofusing.(please bare in mind i ave only had a computer for 2 weeks and still learning, so sorry if sound stupid) i managed to get through all the stages but it did seem to take longer than i thought about 1hr 30 mins longer than x copy may be done something wrong. dont mind that it took longer so much but when it had finished told me add blank dvd so did, it burned, but then when finished did not play on my dvd player, but plays on my computer????? why is this did i do something wrong or does it mean dvd shrink wont work with my dvd player,or could it be disk as i am using all different makes to find best, so far all different disks i ave used have worked with dvd x copy. i use dvd+ as drive is + this one was a rewrittable one.

please be patient with me im new to computers. only had one for 2 weeks just gettin used to web. i found a site for dvd x copy a free download trial. now this software was so bloody easy even a fool like me can do it, but it says in info and write ups that it copys menus and extra s. but every time i ave backed up one of my dvd s it only copys the film no menus or extras i ave looked in option s but there only is languages wide screen and subtitles.i dont want to buy this product if it dont do what it says. Does anyone have dvd x copy express , and experenced same probs. or does it just copy film only. is there a way around this? or is there another software that will, that is just as easy to use as well?
