Page 1 of help please dvd shrink used 1st time it wont play on dvd only computer why?

>:( i am very new to all this i was using dvd x copy express which was very straight forward and played on my dvd player, but no menus so was told to use dvd shrink, i did find this a bit cofusing.(please bare in mind i ave only had a computer for 2 weeks and still learning, so sorry if sound stupid) i managed to get through all the stages but it did seem to take longer than i thought about 1hr 30 mins longer than x copy may be done something wrong. dont mind that it took longer so much but when it had finished told me add blank dvd so did, it burned, but then when finished did not play on my dvd player, but plays on my computer????? why is this did i do something wrong or does it mean dvd shrink wont work with my dvd player,or could it be disk as i am using all different makes to find best, so far all different disks i ave used have worked with dvd x copy. i use dvd+ as drive is + this one was a rewrittable one.

I use DVD Shrink 3.1.4 to transfer the DVD to my hard disk and then burn to a DVD using Nero from the HD and have no problems at all.
You may want to try that approach - just to see if the problem lies with DVD Shrinks burning system.

I get the same problem with my dvd player using re writable discs try the same film onto a + disc , on your dvd shrink settings see if you have the deep analysis box checked and try it without this option as it will speed it up a lot.

Some players have issues with compatibility (especially with discs written by Nero) and you have to force compatibility. You will find more helpful information over at http://www.dvdrhelp.com . Just remember not to ask any direct questions about copying discs because they`re even less tolerant about piracy than we are. :)

I know it`s a pain to have to keep making this point, but DVDReviewer cannot be seen to condone piracy. It`s against the law.
