well as the saying goes.. with more and more tech the more headaces you get! hmm not sure if that is even a saying,.. but it should be!

UPS picked up my xbox360 today, see how long it takes.

nearly all my m8s at work that have xboxes and ps3s have had problems, except the guy that just bought an xbox, but his time will come!
Funny thing is we all can`t wait till the NEW PS4 and Xbox720 comes out!!! more future headaces me things.

Just started to freeze tonight in cod4, tried some game demos also did it, removed h`drive, still did it. Now get the 3 red lights.... dam, got it Feb last year.

Yes i know i have totally messed up, it is all my fault, i`m just trying to solve it, and not loose money in the process.
It was not my intention to waste time / its just i can not do it now, if i could i would, and i can only but apologise for wasting there time.

Help, Changed mind about rented flat, can i cancel my deposit?

Please help, in need of advise,
Was planning to move in with my partner, we viewed a property last Wednesday. The next day I handed in a covering letter and partial £200 deposit (cheque) to hold the property / take it off the website etc.

Since then we went into the agency on Saturday to collect the forms, a lady told me that they will expect the rest of the deposit in 7 days, basically next Thursday another £425, totaling £625.
Now our circumstanced have changed and we now don't want to rent.
We have not signed anything yet, but I did notice on one of the agency's forms, the "declaration" it states that if we pull out, they keep the partial deposit for the landlord's expenses. But this is a form that needs signed by both of us, and again we have not signed anything.

So basically I want to know, will I be able to get my cheque back? Will they charge me if I cancel the cheque? And if so will I get bad credit history because I cancelled the cheque? (Never cancelled one before :P)

Virgin Media - Analogue Cut off. Glasgow

Hey all,

Looks like my folks old analogue NTL/Virgin Media has been cut off. Anyone else on this old tech having the same issue? In the Glasgow Area.

Said they should call them up and shout at them or just ask for something for nothing like, free upgrade to v+. not holding my breathe.

My old man tapes everything on the tv, still using VHS! think the V+ would be a handy thing, but its £75 extra.

Hey guys,

would this be an idea?

I was thinking about setting up something similar to you guys for my old man, (Mac mini) for streaming films to his living room, only problem is even the new "N" wireless routers don't give a good enough signal for his house, extension etc.

Was visiting my Girlfriends sister and her guy has one of those Main's Power Network thingies which worked very well.
He didn't use it for streaming HD content though, but the one above seems like it would.

really enjoying the game, about 25% through at the mo.

Just wanted to ask others about a possible glitch on the 360, can anyone else confirm?

during cut scenes ( the intro into new missions) do you see or notice a flash frame between edits / cuts of the camera angles?

i have noticed this a few times, and was wondering if its a known bug or its just me?

Hey all,

I finally bought a new phone, but this seems too good to be true.

Popped into the carphonewarehouse in Glasgow to buy the K800i on O2 payg.
It came with a free 512mb card. I asked the guy if i had to buy the £10 top up if i was already on O2 payg. Not needed he said, just need you mobile number to confirm you on O2.

When i got home to pop my old O2 sim in it, there was no sign of software branding O2 etc.

Then tried my girlfreinds Orange payg sim, and to my suprise it worked :)

So there you go, sim free unlocked K800i for £129.96 with 512mb card. And if you are not already on O2, guess you could say you are, and just use a friends O2 payg number :P

Try this, its basic and free, and pro`s use upscaled versions of this for movies, same layout as this free one. So later if you happen to want to go into editing or just get a better version of the software, you have already gained experience of the layout and dont have to relearn.

I used Final Cut Pro for years in college, and when i got a job editing, it was all Avid. Big re-learning curve. Now, its like riding a bike.
