I hate to bust your balloon but Sony CX-360 can be hacked by remote control for getting rid of 85% of discs
FBI warnings. The rest has to be chipped. I have a I.C.O.S chip in my already done by USA company prog scan 3:2 for $349 JVC.
I am happy I found the full user manual for the above firmware I tried a few only the CX-860 responded to skip 85% of FBi warnings.

Are you prepared to spend $90 on up for DYS kits or do you want it done for you. If so www.vcdhelp.com go on left side bar type in Sony CX-860 there will be places to send it to outside the USA.
I got mine from already done inside USA with full progressive scan, 3:2, zone free, & macrosvion disabled for $349.00 JVC brand name.

I have already hacked my RCA RC6000P progressive by remote control I have it set for Region 4 Australia.
I have a number of companies that will sell you a kit for $69 for either of my Sony CX-860 or CX-850 mega changers. BTW I have my Sony CX-850D for sale Region 1 holds 200 discs. :)

Chris we share the first & last name letter. Could you give me the hack for the Sony CX-860 or 850. They share the same remote control and their service menu can be accessed by same code.
I have been told by my friends only a mod would work. I hacked my progressive scan RCA RC6000P single. I know how to enter the Service Menu on a RCA/Thomson F-38310 HDTV and my 2 Sony mega changers. Can we help each other out? :) C. C. Ryder

Since there is no option to edit, let me say this. I know that there is several companies that have a mod kit to for regions 1-6, *no* Fbeye warnings, and no mucrovision.
Buyer that purchases will get a way into service menu and the name of companies that have a soldier kit that can be removed without a trace when selling. You can check but there is only a hardware or what I have described for a *200* discs from `all` regions mega changer! :-)

Brian consider this if you don`t buy a widescreen TV,
Digital is 16 X 9 period not 4:3 with a line doubler!
All of your foolscreen DVDs with higher OAR of 1.85:1 will have black bars *not just on the top and bottom, but on the right and left sides also*!!!!
To get rid of black bars make *believe* your in a movie theatre and turn the lights off or pull the shades. Abracadabra *no* more black bars just the movie as you seen in a movie theatre.
Brian this is why it`s called Home Theatre, my *in screen* view is 19 inches high by 33.75 inches wide.
So is my HTWeb Browser. I am typing this out from 5 *feet* away not inches!!!
Only when watching a 1.85:1 OAR is the entire screen filled, unless you stretch a 4:3 image. Are you convinced yet? lol :-)

There is no such thing as a dealer lock. Are looking for the service menu or a regions 1-0 hack?
I have a region hack for a RC5910P (progressive scan) DVD from RCA/Thomson. I also own a RCA F-38310 I know the way to get into the Service Menu on the HDTV and 2 Sony DVD mega changers.
Your next post fill in all the blanks, so we know what your looking for and not a bucket of steam. lol :)

I can`t seem to find the `remote` hack for the RCA RC6000P made by Thomson bros in France, if anyone can help me. I will do something for your I live in the USA.
