Denon Hack
Anybody know if Denon players are hackable or do they need to be chipped?
Bush 2004 - Help needed....PLEASE!!
A mate of mine has this system and it has worked fine for the last year. It eventually stopped playing CDs so he got it replaced. Since then every time he switches on his TV it goes directly to AV1 for about 10 minutes and then the TV sitches to `normal` mode. The fast forward function is knackered too - it won`t stop when activated. When he replaced the unit he didn`t change any of the wiring. Is the unit knackered or is it a set-up issue?
BTW, he didn`t receive a manual so difficult to ascertain!
Hack for LG3000E
Is the hack for the LG3000E the same as that for the LG3000?
RE: Sony DVD bargain at Currys
Dumbarton store has one left, but it is ex-display and does not have a box. Therefore they are unable to package to another store.
RE: argos sony dvd bargain!!!
Excellent system, and yes you can play your TV/Video through the amp.
Does the Gamecube play DVD?

DVD Back-up
Hi! I have a chipped Sony DAVS300 which can now back-up DVDs to tape. The problem is I have no idea how to do this. Can someone help me out and advise?
RE: CREATING A MULTI REGION
I also have the DAVS300 and got the DIY kit from www.techtronics.com. It works a treat. If you don`t know anyone who can solder I would recommend that get them to modify your player.
NTSC Problem
A friend is looking at purchasing a multi-region DVD player and the model he is looking at outputs PAL - PAL and NTSC - NTSC. His TV does not support NTSC. Is there any way round this or will he have to go for a model that outputs NTSC - PAL?
RE: Problems with my connections!!
I also have a DAV S300 and have connected my TV with a Scart to Phono lead. I have it connected to Video 2 - to select video 2 press the function key. You wouldn`t need to connect your pace box directly as it would go thru your TV. Otherwise you could connect your pace box in the same way directly to the S300.
Scart connection HELP
I have 3 scart sockets at the back of my TV, with an extension providing an additional 2. In the extension I have my PS2, DVD player and ITV Digital. Whenever I want to view one I have to make sure that the others are either off or on stand-by. However, I still view slight interferance (particuarly with the PS2). Can anyone tell if there is a better option (other than disconnecting the scarts each time)?
