Page 1 of Sony DVD bargain at Currys

Currys are selling the Sony DAV-S300 Home cimema dvd player for £198.98.
It is only available in-store, but i got one off show and got an extra £20 off.
The salesman checked the stock and there seemed to be quite a lot available unlike the Argos offer.

Just checked the currys web site and they have it online, Not sure if this opens any other online stores for price match etc.

went on line tonight sold out another con, anyone tell me where i can get that type at that price

The phrase "As Rare As Rocking Horse Sh*t" springs to mind. Contacted the Falkirk store today and was informed that they had one and that was a returned item but the R/C was goosed. Best of luck if you manage to get one.

Last month i bought the DAVS300 and it cost me £329!!!!

Top piece of kit though, totally recommend it.

I think currys/dixons group policy is if found cheaper within 14 days anywhere else we will refund the difference i had similiar with cd writer last year dropped by £30 over 3 weeks I went back to PC World they ooed and ah-ed about it at first i spoke to manager they everntually gave be my £30 back, but they do have the right to refuse you.

Dumbarton store has one left, but it is ex-display and does not have a box. Therefore they are unable to package to another store.
