yes and no.
depends on what your warranty claims is. If its due to the hack adn they realise this then yes.

If it has an electrical fault, or the bottom falls off etc ie nothing to do wth your hack update then your warranty is still covered.

You need to check your warranty details to see if they have a disclaimer about such things.

Its just common sense really.

at £99 for the m73 at the moment i would get them ordered. the difference in price for the 74`s isnt worth it imo

As much as id like to buy it from sevenoaks £100 is just to much to turn down seeing as theyre identical boxed products and any warranty would be handled directly by rel.

Have you additioned these?.

I was going to buy the the Yam320, i went for an audition and was really disappointed I didnt like it at all. It was just way to `boomy` imo.

It`s all personal taste and you might like the sound, but i would definately recommend you audition them before you buy.

Will Sevenoaks price match?

Anyone know will Sevenoaks do a price match, and im not talking about a couple of pounds.
I get the impression they won`t, i.e. you are paying the extra for the service etc?.

I was in on saturday (sevenoaks nottingham) they have the Rel Q150 for £500, but online its only £400 and across the road at forumhifi its £425.

I felt a bit uncomfortable asking on saturday as I didn`t want to make myself look like a cheapskate ;-)

Got my new Yamaha 630

Very nice. As always yet another nice amp from yam.
Not had chance to go over it thoroughly first noticeable difference
it has a much better remote than my 620, ive always hated my 620 remote ;-)

i personally didnt like this sub, i found it a bit boomy.
I auditoned this against a number of subs (my favourite being the rel q150) and found the yams to be very disappointing.

i decided to pick up this asda player for the bedroom upstairs and i have to say i am very impressed.
I paid £220 for my pioneer444 downstairs for £90 this asda player is an absolute bargain and has played everything i have thrown at it.

From what I am aware there are none or none that can admit to it anyway. R1 have to come from outside the uk.
As per post above futurent don`t, you just have the impresion they do.(i think they use a forwarding process in the uk)

Did playstation.com once sell dvds?

I am sure when i visited playstation.com before there was a shop section which sold dvd`s some pretty cheap from what i remember.

when visiting th e site now I cant seem to see any shop on there at all and no mention of dvds.

Does anyone else remember this or am i mistaken?

I have the RXV620 and am also looking to upgrade to DPLII.

The 620 is 90w but as mentioned above its replacement the 630 dropped to 75W, can someone shed some light on this, isnt this a bad thing?

Whereever possible i would recommend getting john lewis to do a price match this is what i did with my sony36".
It might work out slightly more than some of the online stores but worth it for the additional 5 yr guarantee imo

Tesco Dansai 852 or Asda Pacific 750. Which is the best

I have a choice of one of the above players only.

The Pacific750 is £10 cheaper and doesn`t have an embarrasing tesco logo appear on the screen so i am inclined to go for this one.

Anyone compared the two?. Is there an advantage of one over the other i maybe should be aware of.

thx clayts just realised that!!. the cover isn`t a problem but the difference in aspect ratio is definately something to watch out for.

Just also noticed cd-wows blackhawk down is region3 which is a bit disappointing as this is normally a region I try to avoid.

CD-Wow`s appears to have a different cover and also a different aspect ratio???

I noticed another dvd player on the jungle site the haus H100 model.
I notice however this is only 2 channel:

DVD,SVCD,VCD,CD,MP3,CD-R,CD-RW Playback

RGB Scart
S-Video Output
Optical Output

Can someone confirm what this means in real terms. I have a seperate amp do i need a dvd player which is 5.1?.
Then again what about players that are 5.1 surely you would have to buy a seperate amp anyway to plug all the speakers into?
