Page 1 of Amazon delivery times

Are there many other people having delays with Amazon.

I have several orders with them for Dvds, books etc but delivery estimated are for weeks away.

The items i have ordered are not specifically rare.

Ordered my Wii last wednesday, they delivered on Thursday morning. That was on First class delivery. I ordered the RGB cable on Saturday and it arrived Tuesday on the free delivery service, so, no problems here.

Orderd king of Queens season 1 on saturday got it tuesday morning free delivery. i have never had any problems with Amazon...(touch wood)

I`ve had no problems with them. Even using their free delivery for items over £15, supposed to be within 5-7 working days, but I get it within 2 days. So don`t really bother with paying extra for next day delivery.

Have you tried chasing them to see what`s happened or checked your delivery status?

I`ve just had some kids books delivered in 3 days on the freebie delivery option.

I have had odd instances in the past, where they have held back all my delivery for the sake of one book that they can`t get hold of, when usually they would have dispatched seperatley. Sometimes think they do this deliberatley just so you don`t rely on the free delivery instead of paying, but I never pay .....waited 3mths for one book, but it was a Yank book on green building, so maybe not the most popular book :)

I posted Star trek 1-10 on sale here late jan, ordered it feb 3rd, delivery estimate 28th feb, went in this morning and put back to march 17th at earliest, emailed them fuming :(

Did you check the items were in stock ?
I`ve order loads of stuff from them,using their free delivery option,and it`s been here within several days.
Just today,I ordered an LCD TV from them and only had to pay an extra £7 for next day delivery.
They`ve confirmed it will be here tomorrow.
Excellent service,no complaints.

Says its instock now..2-4 weeks.....they told me that 3rd feb!!!

Always had excellent service and delivery

I ordered a photo frame before Christmas and paid for Express delivery. When I got an email indicating a delay I called to chase, the operator immediately credited the express carriage charge and promised to chase the supplier/warehouse. The delivery arrived the following day and the credit was on the CC within 48 hours.

It don`t really get better than that!

No problems for me either - used them on and off over the last 3 years. Had delivery today - dispatch estimate was Mar 1st, delivery estimate 5th - 7th! :) :) :)

If in stock shouldn`t be any problem (touch wood), much like Play.com :) :) :)
