Page 1 of DVDSoon problem

I was just wondering if the problem that I have experienced with DVD soon is coomon or not?
I placed an order on 06/02/03 for a DVD. Once submitted it admittedly took an age to go through, and come back saying all is OK.
I received an Invoice from DVD soon with the order details on.
The thing is, on my account page at DVDsoon, there is no mention of the order being placed????
I have emailed them about 8 times and so far...............silence.
This happened to anyone else?
People have had lots of problems with them.
I made an order about a month ago, but it didn`t begin processing til a week ago because I hadn`t confirmed my credit card details for validation (a concept I`d never come across before).
Now I`m waiting for the order to be shipped, because both items are now seemingly out of stock. :o(
I don`t mind waiting as I`m not desperate for them. It`s just I`ve been charged, and so would like to have something to show for my money.
By the way, I ordered "Dogma" and "From Dusk til Dawn" both Special Editions.
And the thing with them not replying to e-mails, that just seems to be their way of doing business. Check for previous threads where people have made us aware of this.
I placed an order for Dogma ( Special Edition ) with them on 16 January, 2003, at which time it was listed as `On Order.` Received an e-mail on 6 February, 2003, stating that it had been dispatched and it arrived
yesterday.
I have placed 12 orders with them since 6 December, 2002, and have not had a problem.
And I`m STILL waiting for Blue Crush - 35 days and 9 emails later.
Funny thing is - I received Greek Wedding in 7 days - very very strange.
I`ve ordered twice from dvd soon and had no problem at all!(touch wood) But I do know that Canada post isn`t the best! As for not anawering e-mails that is a bit shoddy, but again I think I`ve read somewhere on these forums that you have to contact a specific address to get a response?
I have posted stuff about DVDSoon before, to my opinion they are a crap company (I know some people say that they never have any problem with them), but what I don`t like is that they don`t send any information regarding on where your items are. They ignore phone calls and emails. My point is fair enough they are out of stock of whatever the reasons are for no sending the DVDs on time but at least let the people know. My first and only (and last) experience with them was:
Ordered Home Alone on 12 Dec 2002
They took the money on the 14 Dec 2002
Film was despatch 6 weeks later
No explanation, no apologies neither
And I am not the only one, read previous threads.
JC (I have promised them bad publicity and they are getting it)
15 orders, 15 problems, probably 60 unanswered emails, I`m possibly the most patient and easy going bloke on the planet but mention DvDSoon and.... well.
A few people like Hugh Nimmo have been lucky with them but when so many others have had problems, dealing with them is a definite gamble.
One thing about them is very slick and professional, they ALWAYS take your money quickly.
P.
I`ve had one bad experience out of three orders but I`ll not use it again, not worth the aggro.
It took about 9 weeks to receive my order in full, and it was supposed to be 2~5 day courier in time for Christmas. Order had be be reissued and that`s enough to put me off DVD Soon.
10 orders, no problems (so far)

Are you not being a bit unfair when you criticise them for being slick and professional by always taking your money quickly when it is clearly stated in their terms and conditions that you will be charged for the order the moment you click ` Confirm Purchase.`
