RE: I-tunes question (multiple players)

Hold down Shift when you open itunes and keep it held down till a window pops up

This allows you to create a new library
When you load itunes next time you will then need to hold down Shift an select which library you wish to use each time

I have created 2 libraries for myself and my wife and it works a treat

RE: NYC Eats - your recommendations please............

If you want some nice food and some entertainment stop off at Bubba Gump Shrimp in Times Square http://www.bubbagump.com/html/newyork.html if you dont like shrimp there is other things on the menu (i recomend the BBQ pork sandwich). It has some good movie memrobilia and the waiters will give you a quiz on the film if you are up for it. There is a nice little gift shop downstairs also.

Also Just across the road is Planet Hollywood, which is full of movie memrobilia.

RE: Bad Santa!!

It was released November 26th 2003 in the US

and it will be released nearly a year later over her on November 5th

I dont think it did very well in the US, but I have seen it and I think it is one of the funniest films I have seen.

RE: Album of the year...

How about one of these...

Kanye West - College Dropout
Jay-Z - The Black Album
Slipknot - Vol 3, The Subliminal Verses

especially the automatic machine telling you about the holidays

I forgot about that one I dont think there is enough days in the year to take all of the holidays I have won.

How can I stop tele sales ringing me???

I am sick of getting phone calls from banks, life insurance, window salesman etc, and someone has told me that there is a number you can ring to get your deails removed from any list so that none of these companies can ring you.

Has anyone else heard about this and if so do they know the number??

RE: Dual Layer Pioneer 70 quid

If you dont mind waiting a couple of weeks you can get it here http://www.burn-media.co.uk/acatalog/DVD_RW_Drives.html for £61.08 and f you find it cheaper they will match the price.

RE: What`s in your CD player (or DVD player, or MP3 player, or iPod, etc, etc) ?

The Hives - Tyrannosaurus Hives, liked the new song so I thought I would give the album a try and its good.

RE: Anyone Here Own Tropical Fish?? (Advice Needed)

Thanks for all the good advice, I have got alot of reading to do before I do anything else. The tank I had in mind was the Juwel Rio 180.

I will go to my local fishshops tomorrow and get some advice from them aswell.

Thanks again for the advice

RE: Anyone Here Own Tropical Fish?? (Advice Needed)

Thanks for the advice,

I already have a biorb with some coldwater fish in, I was thinking about putting a heater in it but I have got a bit of space and I have wanted a big tank for a while.

Anyone Here Own Tropical Fish?? (Advice Needed)

I`m thinking about setting up a tropical fish tank but before I do could anyone who owns one give me some advice like, what tank, filter, heater to get and how long per week is spent maintaining the tank?

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks

RE: Anyone got the Velvet Revolver album??

I have it, listened to it a few times now.

The stand out track for me is `Set me free` from The Hulk soundtrack.

Its a good album, most of the tunes sound like you could be listening to Guns n Roses until you hear someone else singing.

Where are you seeing them in concert? are they doing a UK tour?

RE: 3 disc Dawn of the Dead (original) website!

It says on the site that its 4 discs

RE: Heads-up! NEC 2510 dual-layer burner out next month £69.99 from SVP

I am not suggesting that SVP have got it wrong, I was just telling people what I had heard about the price of discs and with everyone telling me I was wrong I just wanted to prove what I had been told.

RE: Heads-up! NEC 2510 dual-layer burner out next month £69.99 from SVP

The first Dual Layered discs have been shown at Computex 2004 this week, and Verbatim have confirmed,

Quote:
The disc from Mitsubishi Kagaku (Verbatim) costs ¥1,500 (around £7), around the same price as a pack of five single-layer DVD+R discs from the same company

RE: Heads-up! NEC 2510 dual-layer burner out next month £69.99 from SVP

I work for a computer company and that is a price quoted from Verbatim to one of our purchasers, the actual cost price to suppliers will be £5.30.

RE: Heads-up! NEC 2510 dual-layer burner out next month £69.99 from SVP

Just found out today that dual layed discs will cost about £6 each and considering it will take about 40mins to write a full disc the dual layed writer will be a complete waste of money

RE: I`m looking for cheap car hire in New York, Can you help

I used Avis when I went to New York last year, but unless you are going to be driving out of New York I wouldnt recomend getting a hire car as the car park fees are expensive and driving in New York is mayhem.

RE: Is my psu powerful enough

Make sure that 230W is the output and not the input, you should have at least a 300W PSU. Most new cases come supplied with anything from 300W to 400W so if your case is new then your PSU should be ok.

The "CMOS Checksum error-Default loaded" message you saw means that your BIOS has reset itself and that could point to the problems coming from your motherboard.

Good luck
