Are these lot any good? Ordered some goods about a year ago & had to wait ages, wondered if the service had improved of late as some of the prices are pretty good.

they are crap, don`t bother.
they take your money then let you down and make you wait an age before saying they won`t honour orders even though the transactions already gone off your credit card
I`ve ordered 6 items and been let down on every single one so there`s a lesson learned Biker

considering there was just one reply, and a negative one at that, I can`t blame you for avoiding them.
But I`m one of those that have had nothing but good service so I`m happy to use Splash. I`ve used the company on and off for about 2 years, when it was called `Under18`, and have no problems. Some items have taken a few days longer to ship but then this is the same with the likes of Play.

i buy alot from SPLASH never had a problem , had lots of problems with play.com, (Malta)

Prices are good, customer service is pretty good (better than Play), and shipment doesn`t take ages. About a year ago I`d rate Play higher than Splash, but now the tables have turned. And yes, prices are consistently low. Shipment to Norway is between 4-8 days. Not bad at all! Would recommend both Splash and Play though, due to their price fighting.

I beg to differ Ive had a dvd on order for almost 2 months and decided to cancel it(although they do say if its not been sent within 4 weeeks they will cancel and refund) cant get a reply ive also `sopranos` soundtrack on order now for almost 3 weeks am i going to get a refund on that too

Have to say that generally while they do take a little longer than play, I have never had any real problems with them. For me, the real advantage of Play over Splash is their site, which is much easier to navigate, check old orders etc.
Although, it does appear that I am one of the few people never to have had any problems with Splash!
