RE: Amazon cloud storage insane prices
I currently use the free amount I get from Dropbox but I'm looking at using cloud a lot more shortly so I'll probably have to start paying.
Tempted to just stay with Dropbox as they've always been easy to use.
How do people find whoever they use, Amazon or other?

I used to be with it, but then they changed what `it` was.
Now, what I`m with isn`t it, and what`s `it` seems weird and scary

Amazon's sync app is rubbish, you have to manually sync your data to it. :( And it takes ages to go through all your photos.
But hay, I get it with Prime, so it's cheap!

RE: Amazon cloud storage insane prices
Just having a look around at where to back up my photos on line, and Amazon Prime (£79pa)seems to be best value for money, it doesn't cost that much more than Amazon Photo(£55pa but 3month trial), and the quick delivery would come in handy, I guess that's how they catch you ;)
all the cloud backup providers I've seen seem relatively expensive. I like dropbox, but I can only store a few months photos which I share with family before deleting them ready for the next couple of months.
other cloud options seem expensive e.g. sync.com ($8pm about £71pa) but I suppose they're for putting anything on cloud not just photos.
I also current use Canon's own one, Irista as I got that free for a while with the camera, but that's coming to an end soon, it may be worth just paying that £1.99pm 100gb or 11.99pm 1 tb. Actually, now I'm typing this, that seems like a pretty good option :)

Since I started using Backblaze, I actually stopped backing up my photos to Amazon, but I still keep Prime for the delivery and video streaming service. I could use the music service too (it's included) but I'm not much into streaming music.

Not entirely sure why you'd pay for Backblaze when your still paying for unlimited with Amazon?

I saw the other day flickr seems a good choice for photo backup - 1TB for free, then realised a couple of you here use it :)

so, it's free, but you have to use website to upload, and get adverts?
if you pay, you don't get adverts and can use a program?
Seems these sites change what you get so often, as some reviews were mentioning how much extra storage you get if you pay, but it was really expensive, but I couldn't see extra storage options!
