The exact same thing happened to me a couple of months ago, I may be a sceptic but I automatically assumed it was a phishing scam. I just ignored it and it stopped after about a week or two. If you are using Hotmail or Livemail you can report it as phishing using the drop down box under `mark as` and it may stop quicker but if my experience was anything to go by they should stop in a few days.

If you get a message that a request has been issued regarding a change/reminder of password, it`s one of 2 things;
1, someone has tried to get into one of your accounts, luckily the simple security measure employed by the website means that the request comes to you before anything can actually be changed.
2, it`s a phishing scam, which normally include a link to a fake login page, which resembles the legit page, and submitting your info sends it to the phishers and redirects you to the actual website.
In either case, if you didn`t request the change/reminder, and you can still easily access the website concerned, then there`s nothing to worry about.
