Page 1 of please help to watch you tube vids + others on full screen.

hello i just got a new dell inspiron laptop and when i`m on you tube i can watch a video
unless i put it on full screen,
i can hear sound but get no picture,
is there anything simple i can do so i can watch it or is there something wrong,
i have vista home premium if this helps,

make sure you have the latest flash and java?

While you`re watching a video, right-click on it, click Settings, then un-tick "Enable Hardware Acceleration".

check vista`s sound settings make sure wave is enabled alond with ms

hello again thanks for the replys
i have the latest flash and java,also tried the right click thing but to no joy,
i don`t know what i did but it does seem to work now but for only about 5 mins
then screen goe`s blank with sound ok, if i small it down the large again it goe`s
ok but again only for about 5 mins,
any idea`s,


can you tell i know loads about pc`s :) :) :)

That`s me out of ideas then: I had the same problem and that`s what fixed it for me, so I can`t think of anything else to try. :)
