Page 1 of What Pop up Blocker do you use?

Hi, im having a little problem at the moment with pop ups. Is there a good blocker i can get to stop these? Thanks

Use Firefox as your default browser (where possible), and install the AdBlock Plus add-on.

Switch to Firefox or Opera as your browser, and install Ad-Aware and Spybot Search and Destroy to ensure there`s not something dodgy causing the pop-ups. All these are free.

If you choose Firefox, you can also install this which will block all advertising.

I`m having trouble with the links on here, every time I click on one, or try and set up a link, the pop up blocker on top of the screen flashes, and I have to temporarily allow pop ups before I can access/create a link.

Is there anyway round it?

Not sure if this is the answer but I get FF3 to open links in a new tab rather than a new window. Try that.

I`ve got Panicware`s pop-up stopper. Works a treat, but for some deliberate links to open you have to hold down ctrl, but I think that`s common for most types
