To be honest mate, even though it is PC World, I`ll stick my neck out and say `thats not too bad at all...`. It`s not going to be Bargain of the Year but for a reasonably able laptop at a resaonable price what more can you ask? especially when you can pick it up locally..

I`m not a big fan of the DSG, but if the spec fits buy it. With Toshiba you can`t go too far wrong can you?

Now I`m expecting a few people to jump on back, please form an orderly queue...

Pete

Agree with above - that is a decent laptop for the price. I recently tested a similarly spec`d Evesham Voyager X3 which costs £699!

I thought it seemed ok, especially as it reads and, I think, writes, to DVD RAM which will handle stuff recorded on my Panasonic E55 with its universal dvd rewriter jobby.

Only, will I escape without being pressed for a £150 warranty?!

Somehow, I suspect not..

All you have to do is to refuse the £150 warranty. Take the warranty out with Toshiba directly. It is likely to be cheaper.

sorry but i disagree about havin their warrenty, i would say take it, cuz if you do thay allways take some off the price of the laptop if you do at least 30 -50 quid , then when you get home cancel the thing and go get it somewhere else, a saving is a savin no matter how you do it.
