Automatic Bidding Software

Braindead (Competent) posted this on Sunday, 16th November 2003, 19:08

Anyone know any good (and free) software for auto-bidding on ebay UK?

Apparently questions about software get removed from the Software forum. Answer quick before someone decides this isn`t general enough for a General forum. :/

Cheers

I`d like to have software to place a bid whilst I`m at work or away.

I believe they call it `sniping`. Entering a bid at the last minute.

I found one - BidSage - but it is aimed at the US market rather than eBay.co.uk.

Thanks

So you`re talking about software ? Stuff that runs on Personal Computers you mean ?

Heading of Software Forum reads :

Heading of Personal Computer reads - well have a look at the top of the page.

Yeah, it runs on a PC....it`s also software, it`s also about auctions (General? Trading?)

I see there`s posts in bargain buckets regarding cheap PC media.....that is used on a PC!

Whatever gets you though the day.........

I humbly submit

Presumably if you want someone (or something) else to bid on your behalf you have to provide them with your user name and password. Sounds a bit dangerous to me. Doesn`t ebay & co allow for automatic bidding anyhow, so long as you set a sufficiently high max bid?

Sam.

Sput2001 - Have you used actionstealer? Is it safe and reliable?

Cheers for the feedback
