Or you could just stop looking at those dorty pixtures in the first place. This will have added benefits for your eyesight. ;-)

The one I linked to is free and has been great so far for me (ages) - I`ve had at most 5 pop-ups get past it. You can make it allow certain pop-ups by holding down Ctrl when you click on the link that is a pop-up window or while a page loads if the pop-up code is onLoad. It doesn`t affect links that open in a new window though, they work exactly the same as before.

Ah, but that`s how mousetrapping works. They have a process that opens a new window when you close the previous one.

Ctrl-W also closes rogue windows.

A good firewall is also a must. If that will filter pop-ups and adverts, that`s a bonus.

I have an open mind - everything goes in one ear and out the other.

I haven`t had a problem with that myself since using it.

I meant links where the html is <A HREF="http://www.google.com/" TARGET="_blank">Link</A> or when you right-click and click "open in new window" it`s those that still work.

It stops Javascript windows.
