Page 16 of What gig did you just go to?

Something a bit different to me tonight, just saw Billy Nomates at the Joiners, wow what a voice. this is a small intimate tour, and rather than on her own, she has a bassist, and drummer with her.

the tour is labeled as being reworkings of some classics, rare/unrelease/unknown songs, but was really good, and 1 or 2 songs off the new album coming

I keep meaning to catch a Pink Floyd tribute act, having only ever seen Waters+Mason together (so just half of them). If the Aussie one ever comes to the island I'll have to.

Sam Russo supporting Vinnie Caruana in a small pub. Saw them about this time last year, again, nice small room in a pub, not many ppl deliberately, hardcore fans singing along.


Funny coincidence, a mate is doing opposite, Slipknot at O2 arena, doing 25th anniversary of first album, which we saw the original line up at Portsmouth Guildford 25 years ago! Crazy how big they are.

Looking at his photos, prefer the seeing whites of their eyes rather than having to stare at a screen/use opera glasses
