Philips 32PW6315 - A good buy?

SimonMac (Harmless) posted this on Tuesday, 28th August 2001, 09:07

I`ve seen a Philips 32" widescreen TV (32PW6315) with stand and rear speakers (it`s got built in Pro Logic) for £700.

Does anyone have experience of this model? Is it a good buy at this price?

I have a 32PW9544 which is a bit older but with the glass top. It retailed originally at about £1300. The image and sound is outstanding. I am still looking to get my home cinema system up and running but in the meantime the sounds from this television rocks. Image is everything with tv`s and the big 32 inch 100hz phillips deliver.

Except:
1. No additional speakers with mine
2. The set up menu and features are hard to understand and use even with a manual!

sounds like a good bargain

Dont know what the extra 1 digit means in features.

I have the philips 32pw9631 - - - which you may not have heard of. Probably some knocked off Saudi Arabian box with badge but it has good picture, and reasonable sound when linked to all 5 speakers and can be obtained from Boxclever at a cracking price of £320 inc 1 year warranty.

To me thats a bargain and half the price of the 32PW6315,

Take a look and if u can find any remarkable difference then I will be surprised......They even ship it to your door for free.
