Can anyone verify if this dvd player can play rce regional titles such as the patriot region 1, or resident evil special edition, thanks!

Funnily enough spiyre i borrowed the resident evil disc off a mate having only bought my 108 last week to see if it would play other region discs and it plays fine.Don`t know about other discs though.I wasn`t sure if the r.evil disc was rce encoded.

Well i dont know if there are other versions of the resident evil region 1 dvd but im positive the special edition dvd is rce encoded. So if the 108 plays that then its a must have.

Resident evil is not rce becaause I set my dvd player to region 2 and put it in and it said invalid region disk and not the rce message and I did a dvd scan and set with dvd genie and it said this disk can be played in the following regions 1 with rce disks it says this disk can be played in the following regions 1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8

Well i hope your right, (im getting it hopefully tomorrow if the post arrives on time!) but i was readin the stats for it on amazon and cd now and it says that the resident evil dvd special edition is rce..... weird

lots of websites say columbia dvds are rce even if there not
