Page 1 of HELP NEEDED FOR SAMSUNG SV-DVD1E HACK!!!!!!

i have tried the hacks on this site but they don`t work has anyone got any tips or a new method? I need a detailed step by step guide for exactly what to do and what you see on the screen at that time, cheers!!!

P.S
I bought my girlfriend a samsung m105 for christmas brand new and the hack for it worked straight away, first time!!!!!!

Information Regarding Hack
Before attempting to carry out the procedure below please Remove any disks from the drives tray

Hack Instructions
To make your player Multi Region follow the hack instructions below. - Good Look !!!

Using the players front control panel:

Switch on the player
Press and hold down FF and Pause
When you see a set of Language options, let go of the buttons
Now select a language option of your choice
Using the Remote Control :

Press Setup
Press Repeat
You now need to enter one of the following codes, but you must know the current region setting of your player
Region 1 = 29334
Region 2 = 38767
Region 3 = 56732
Region 4 = 76884
Region 5 = 53814
Region 6 = 24462
The current region of your player should now be shown OnScreen
Press 9 for Region Free

Press 1 for Region 1

Press 2 for Region 2 etc.

Using the players front control panel:

Press open
Using the Remote Control :

Press Standby
If any of the warning screens appear to be stuck or become stuck press the FORWARD SEARCH button to bypass

i have tried this method and it doesnt work!, all i get is the different options on the setup screen when i press the numbers, any idea why?????

I have tried all of these suggested here and this one really works! This is a repost but perhaps you have not found it elsewhere so here it is...

turn off the dvd player then turn back on.no need for a disc.

select dvd mode then press set up once if language does not appear press set up again.
then press repeat a/b once then press in the numbers 38767 in the top left hand corner you should see 02 press 9 for region free.

then press open button then press standyby that should do it.

when you press in the first number after pressing the repeat a/b the curser should not move to that language if it does start over good luck

Hi! Just got today my Samsung M205 player and was looking very forward to hack it and be able to play my Region 1 DVD disc (just purchased too). So far all the hacking methods I have read about Samsung M205 did NOT work, including the ones listed above, cause, as you wrote, when I press in the first number after pressing the repeat a/b the curser just move to another language... :((
I have tried SO many times with always the same unsucessful result. I can`t get to see the current Region setting code on the Tv screen.
Please, please, please, can anyone help me???!!!

Hi Conny, you are not alone with this problem. I have been trying with a SV-DVD1E for the last three weeks to make it work with the same results as yourself.
