Hi! It`s me agaian. Me replying to myself.. Just wanted to let everyone who owns a Samsung M205 know that, after many unsuccesful trying with the above listed method, I finally managed to hack my Region 2 player to Multiregion thanks to the method credited to andy woodacre (go andy!! :)) and listed in this forum. It worked right at the first attempt.
Here it is how to do it (full credits to andy):
press standby
press repeat
key in 575389
press open
wait 15 seconds
press standby
I have played already successfully my American DVD (much to my great delight) and so I think it`ll work for all of you out there! Good luck and Happy -upcoming-New Year! :)

hello! I DID IT FINALLY!!! After many days of hard trying, I finally managed to turn my Region 2 Samsung M205 player into a Multiregion one! Thanks ever so much!!! All the other methods I had tried had failed but this worked right from the start! Now I can watch my brand new released Region 1 DVD too! :)))

BADLY NEEDED HELP FOR HACKING SAMSUNG M205
hello! got a brand new Samsung M205 (Region 2) which I can`t wait to hack for watching my brand new DVD Region 1. Tried all the hacking methods read online, but so far they didn`t work. My problem: when I press the Repeat button on the remote and then enter the code (38767) this won`t make appear the current Region setting of my player on the Tv screen, and therefore I can`t progress to change the current setting to Region 1 one... :(( I have tried SO many times, but it didn`t work. Will anyone please help me?? Thanks in advance!

Hi! Just got today my Samsung M205 player and was looking very forward to hack it and be able to play my Region 1 DVD disc (just purchased too). So far all the hacking methods I have read about Samsung M205 did NOT work, including the ones listed above, cause, as you wrote, when I press in the first number after pressing the repeat a/b the curser just move to another language... :((
I have tried SO many times with always the same unsucessful result. I can`t get to see the current Region setting code on the Tv screen.
Please, please, please, can anyone help me???!!!
