why, do you hav a chip available for this player?
hey steve what about your opinion on this player, hav you had a good look at it. its almost identical to the rowa 280 apart from the colour and remember the rowa senario. the one without the service port+ntsc switch could be remotly hacked, well this pacific player doesn`t hav niether of these, so why can`t it be done.

I have one now ... it is NOTHING like Minato or Wharfedale .... chipping doesnt seem likely either ..... chipping for macro may be an option but as I only took the cover off 5 mins ago I cant say for sure

I just found the relevant chip in the player :) not removed and analised it yet but chipping may be an option

also I think there is a remote hack ....

Open the drawer

press the number keys and the player accepts up to 3 digits ...

off you go guys ... 1000 to check :)

Player looks like a new generation of oritron player to me with the added advantage of playing VCD and MP3
