Surely there must be a way of flashing the firmware either by doing it by cd like the Cyberhome or like the disc you can use on a Panasonic or its clones

Go to www.channeltechnology.com and on the left hand side of site look for panadisk.

I uesed the upgrade disc on a Panasonic A160 and it changed the firmware as they state the Player is Auto Region read and Macrovision disabled
