A suggestion for RJS

Just had a thought, might be too complicated to program though, or something that you`ve already considered and disregarded.

You know you said you were considering that we might be able to use XP to buy extra days, what about if we could use XP to buy extra challenges? Don`t know how much would be reasonable though, 15 or 20, maybe a bit more?

What do you think?

is that extra challenges for us to use on someone else?

if so i think it`s a great idea

yes, extra challenges once you`ve used up your ten, `cos sometimes i use mine up really early and then it gets annoying >:(

This game is too addictive :/

*Edit* going to bed now, `cos if I stay up much longer it will be gone midnight and i`ll be using all tomorrow`s challenges waayy too quickly!

Kinda complicated that, coding wise, much easier to allow buying of extra days of life.

Which if we get lots of interest again (say 500 active gremlins) I`ll definitely impliment.

As for the extra days, the cost will be directly proportional to the number of fights your gremlin has had, so if for example your has hardly fought at all, it will be very cheap.

But if you have huge amounts of fights a day, say because you created loads of accounts yourself just for that purpose, then it will be very very expensive.

This should pretty much make it possible for light users to extend the life of their gremlins easily, and make having the top spots in the table far more about tactics than brute force challenges. :)

Sorry RJS can I tag this idea on (I emailed it last week but no reply so prob sent it wrong person!, lol)
was wondering if youve allready thought on something like this..... after all mine...and others whinging about lapsed and refused fights ....been thinking up of something as a deterrent...
an idea i`ve thought of... which may sound good(ish) but may be impractical....

How about Whoever refuses the fight gets docked (for example) 10 XP, 5 of which would go the the player whom was refused!? (because they`d lost out on gaining xp from a fair fight) .. if the refuser allows thier xp to stay in the minus it reduces their life span (by prehaps a % of whatever the minus amount is!?)

this could maybe work for those who lapse too... (cause otherwise instead of refuse they`ll just let lapse instead...)

dunno if this is at all workable but...thought I would try, lol
cheers, may be more of a deterrent than an indicator bar, cause as soon as that grem is kaput they get a clean slate........

: o )
