Worth remembering every time we rehearse our comparatively petty rivalries.

Although I'm an Evertonian and therefore am biased about what he said, I wonder if Kelvin MacKenzie realised the significance of attacking Ross Barkley when he did this week...

Realised the significance?  Absolutely no doubt whatsoever he did.
The vile excuse for a human for years has made light of the tragedy, always said that the reporting wasn't his fault and even 'jokingly' called himself Lord Mackenzie of Anfield.  How sick, mocking and disrespectful can you get?
The personal attacks on Barkley were one thing but yet again to say such things about a whole city, days before the Anniversary showed completely how crass a 'person' he is.
Not to forget also that, no matter what he wrote, somebody else at the rag approved it for publication.  Truly astonishing.
