Hands up if you like musicals..

Hands up if you like musicals...My hands are dragging on the ground
Personally I think 99.9% of musicals are absolutely crap. A total waste of time.

The only musical, if that`s what it could be called, that I enjoyed was, "Paint Your Wagon" starring Clint Eastwod and Lee Marvin, but that was a bit diifferent from the norm.

Evita was crap and so is Moulin Rouge. It is only my opinion, you understand.
Each to his/her own..each to his/her own..

I hate most musicals except for the rocky horror picture show and little shop of horrors

Who gives a t*ss whether you like musicals or not?

What was the point of your message?

And besides who could dislike `Singin in the Rain`, `Seven Brides for Seven Brothers` or `The Sound of Music`. The list is endless.

Your problem is that you don`t have a heart !!

As it happens I don`t have a heart I`m a robot.. whereas in your case your heart as well as your head must be somewhere else, like up your ar*e...bone head!!

Now let`s get back to the thread.

I`m totally with you, I don`t like musicals either. BUT the way you posted the original thread makes it seem as if you`re just trying to p*** people off who do like them.
Fair enough if you innocently just wanted to find out who does/does not like them, but there`s better ways of going about it!

No hard feelings.

Yep...Love `em, as long as the music`s good...which I`m sure is the whole point. West Side Story....not a bad tune in it, Singin` in the Rain / American in Paris - dance routines and sexy tunes coming out of their ears (ok, odd metaphor, but I know what I mean). Perhaps I should start a thread entitled `who likes war films / sci-fi / historical romances / black and white films / spy films / `Mockney` gangster flicks`. Would have exactly the same point to this one.

Thank-you JE.

The original message we just pointless.

If there was some decent argument put forward fair enough, but to just say most musicals are crap well, a 5-year old could tell you that.

In reply to `Shoes`, my brain might be up my a*se (as you so eloquently put it) BUT at least I have one !!

If that`s the level of debate around here, heaven help us all !!

Everyone has an a*se top cat! What is your point :)

Sorry could not resist!
Musicals are amazing, Les Miserables at the Palace in London was amazing, Starlight Express, Fame, Grease, Saturday Night Fever all were stunning, an excellent night out. Little Shop of Horrors also one of my faves!
A little culture is a must every now and again, dong get me wrong I love a night in with a great DVD and a few beers but a big night out to the theatre is an amazing experience and I highly recommend it

Cheers
