Page 1 of Pottermore...?

For the last 2 days, 10 different Harry Potter fansites have been showing a different set of co-ordinates, each to be used on secretstreetview.com. Visiting those coordinates showed a differnt 3D letter imbedded in the streetview image, putting all th elatters together (Not me, I`ve got other stuff tto be doing, but there are plently out there who had lots of time on their hands) eventuallt gave enough letters to spell out `Pottermore`

Lo and behold, a teaser website sprung up, displaying nothing more then the name, accompanied by JK Rowling`s signature.

The preamble for the reveal was that it wasn`t about another book, which is a bit of a surprise, since as far as we knew, the only other HP-related work she was doing was the official HP encyclopedia, So all us pottergeeks are scratching our heads and furrowing our brows in an attempt to figure out what the hell she`s up to

My tuppence is possibly a HP related MMORPG. The secretstreetview led us to locations all around the world. Salem, Woolongong, Islington, and the name Pottermore lends itself slightly to the format.

World of Warcraft I would give two hoots about, but this...

MMORPG based on harry potter would be good, although I found the films a little disappointing at times. 

Maybe its actually some sort of Harry Potter world like Legoland?

Oh yes, the Onion, the last bastion of winding up those not in the know

There`s already a harry potter land in Orlando, it`s on my bucket list.

The last few movies were mainly dull filler, but it`s the concept of the whole universe that holds the overall appeal

EDIT:. Looking at the bottom of the teaser page shows this;

Sony partners with Rowling on Pottermore

Just got home and watched the announcement video. Not a book, not a MMORPG, Not an encyclopedia, not a social network, I`d say it`s a mixture of all four

One of the things that sprung up almost immediately was an inexplicable torrent of Fanfic. Some of of it expanding on the story, most of it changing the stiory, and a hell of a lot of it turning Harry and Draco gay and ending up in the sack. From what Jo said, it seems to be aplace where fans can meet, discuss, edit and add to the HP universe

But we won`t know until Harry`s birthday the full details
