I remember going up the ladder to put a new ariel on our roof, and once I got to maybe 12ft I had to stop and get used to the idea of going further.

This is insane in comparison!

Highest I went as a firefighter was 80ft. No way could I go that high.

Amazing how they managed to get the structure up in the first place

No ****in Way!
The height would be bad enough but sh*t like that moves about in the wind.
Even brown cords and cycle clips wouldn`t be enough.

I used to be with it, but then they changed what `it` was.
Now, what I`m with isn`t it, and what`s `it` seems weird and scary

I`m s*** scared of heights, if I have no `safety device`.
But give me a rope / harnass / parachute and I`m fine.
Strange, I know.

Edit, that is making me a feel a little ill though.
I hope he gets well paid.

Would not have a problem with that. Unless there was a spider at the top.

Yep. Fall from 100 or 1700 feet and you are dead. It is safer than climbing an unsecured 25 foot ladder.

I sh*t my whack just watching that.

Was shaking as he got higher and then higher - I struggle to climb the lighting tower at work!
