Page 1 of Ocean`s 11 - superb!

Watched Oceans 11 at my local cinema last night - gotta say, its one of the best films i`ve seen in a long time! you`ve all gotta go see it. Put my order in at Play for the DVD!
I`ve heard it`s supposed to be good.
Girlfriend wants to go to see it (so she can sit there wetting her knickers over Pitt & Clooney I suppose) & I had a chance of free tickets too which I never took advantage of! I`ll have to pay now......bugger!
Ocean`s 11 = disappointment
While being entertaining and sometimes amusing..it just left me feeling nothing..
you just sit there and are reminded how cool the film looks and how cool the actors are... Not once did it feel like a Soderbergh film...
i thought it was very good, although not as good as many other soderbergs films. i think he went for a `cool` mainstream happy good-fun film after his oscar exploits
RE: Ocean`s 11 - superb!
But Clooney is in it. How can it be good?
All the best,
Andrew.

Cool film but possibly the worst english accent since dick van dyke in marry poppins. Cant remeber the actors name (he was in Mission to Mars) but there was absolutely no need for an english character anyway.
Watched it Today and I loved it. It`s a great heist movie with some decent performances. But you`re right about the cockney, (some kind of homage to Guy Ritchie) Don Cheadle`s the guy`s name. I mean, Barney Rubble = Trouble? That line got the biggest laugh of the movie and Methinks it weren`t intentional. I ask you, You get American actors doing cockney, English actors going American (Blackhawk Down), why not just get an English actor for the role. Vas Blackwood would have been perfect.
By the way, when the DVD comes out, don`t complain about the grain, it`s shot that way.

I think Mr Depp in HELL ( Jack th ripper film) will give him a run for is money, and then there`s that Irish accent Cruise did..yuk!

I haven`t seen From Hell, but most reviews I`ve read have said that Johnny Depp`s accent is not too bad.
Hmm.. now who wins the award for the worst English/ British accent?
The old favourite Dick Van Dyke in Mary Poppins?
Keannu Reaves in Dracula?
Kevin Costner in "Robin Hood"? Did he try? I can`t remember.
Josh Hartnett, playing Alan Rickman`s son in Blow dry?
Brad Pitt`s incomprehensible Irish/Gypsy accent in Snatch?
Any other nominations?
I`ve also seen From Hell, thought it was OK, some bits left me a bit confused.
Depp`s accent was quite good I thought in this film. Not really to sure on the theory of who Jack the Ripper was in this movie, I reckon it was someone else.
