Guitar maker Les Paul died this afternoon in New York aged 94.
A very good innings.

RIP Les

Sad day... such an innovator.... multi tracking... solid body guitar.. (although I`m sure Bigsby and Rickenbacker might have something to say about that!!!)

How high the moon?.........

RIP Les

A legend in any musical form, and not just the guitar, largely due to the multi-tracking technqiues.

RIP Sir.

Way back in the Fifties, my step dad bought us a 78 RPM record player. He brought home some 78 RPM discs that some one at his work let him have. One was Les Paul`s `How High the moon` plus the `B` side, wow, both blew me away. I had never heard anything like it before & since then I`ve liked most everything he has done. Thanks for the memories & RIP Les.

I used to be with it, but then they changed what `it` was.
Now, what I`m with isn`t it, and what`s `it` seems weird and scary

yeh I made some noise, then when I told the other bloke in the office with me he played a tune, but he plays various stringed instruments in a band, show off ;)
