Page 1 of Whats the worst DVD you have bought and why did you buy it?

Mine has to be Scary Movie.

and my reason... I heard it wasn`t great but it had been hyped - I didn`t know it was as bad as I found it. I also had quite a bit of money at the time to spend on DVDs and amongst many others this rubbish title was chosen.

So what turkey do you all have in your collection and how did it get there?

I think R1: Valentine (w/Denise Richards). I was bored one Sunday morning and Sunday tends to be the time I do most of my online shopping, it was going kinda cheap so I thought `Why not?`. Great video transfer, crappy film. And I`m not just saying it`s a crappy film because Denise is marrying Charlie Sheen... :-(

Also Disney`s Hercules. I hadn`t seen it before and I thought it was okay the first time I watched it, but then I could only watch it half way through the second time before getting bored. I took a chance...

I think rat race (i think i only laughed twice) and i brought it so i did not have to go to the cinema, should have saved myself £10 by seeing it in the cinema.

Dunno exactly what my worst DVD purchase is, but I can tell you what it`s gonna be.

Next Monday, I`m gonna buy Robocop III,

Why? Cos it`s bundled with the other two.

What an evil corporate ploy to get rid of unwanted stock...

The worse DVD I have bought was Final Fantasy, the film was so dry I had to turn it off half way. Even the special features was boring (bar the funny outakes). I bought the DVD as I have heard from many Manga fans that this film was exceptionally good. Maybe I misheard the word good for goof!

Luckily I traded it for the not so bad Shrek which had me laughing for ages. Kudos to Eddie Murphy!

Little Nicky - crap filme, crap `music` video as an extra (has that band actually GOT fans?)...anyway, it was cheap, and I was wondering why Adam Sandler seemed so popular.....after watching the film, I`m still wondering.

Not exactly the worst, but I`ve haven`t actually seen The Insider yet. Seen it at the cinema and thought it was a great film but I just can`t go throught that again, it require concentration and 3 hours. Same thing as Magnolia, Love the film, saw it at the cinema, thought it was the best film of the year but it`s also need concentration and 3 hours.

But worst film that I wish I never bought, Life, eddie murphy isn`t that funny in it. it was £7 in Dixon in a sale so I bought, wish I got some popcorn and a afternoon to the cinema instead.

Definently Traffic - what ever possessed me to buy such a sh*t film I will never know. I think it was a spur of the moment thing.
