Just finished watching Final Destination and found it to be a class movie and I was wondering what people think of the R1 DVD as I am considering buying it.

Cheers!

I`ve not seen the R1 disc, but I have heard good things about it. The picture and sound are supposed to be excellent, and there are 3 commentary tracks (I believe that there is only 1 on the R2 disc).

The three tracks are :-

1 from Morgan/Wong & friends
1 from the actors
1 about the soundtrack (it`s an isolated soundtrack with the commentary during the quiet moments)

I`ve just watched the R2 and its an excellent disc, although I don`t remember seeing any commentary tracks on it (which is NOT the same as saying there are none).

I watched this film quite a while ago, the night before I flew to Tenerife, not a good idea.I was going to decorate an apartment with a friend of mine, the day we flew my daughter said that she had a dream that I walked through an exit door and she never saw me again (she`s six) that got me a tad worried,,,,a sign!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! then when we got on the plane, we were sat on the back row, I turned around and guess what,,yes EXIT ohhh s***!!! sweaty palms city, then the FINAL straw, the stewardess comes over and asks us to SWAP SEATS with a lady further down. I s*** myself there and then. Needless to say the stewardess got told to nob off you aren`t getting out of these seats for nothing. This really is true and very frighteneing indeed, oh and the flight was the worst I`ve ever been on, seatbelts all the way.

Swedish lesbians in blackcurrant jam ROCKS!!!!!!!!!!!!!

just got the R1 version today, which incidentally is better than the R2 version as it has commentarys and an alternate ending. its a brilliant disc overall and the `death clock` which tells you when you will die is one of the coolest and most bizarre features ive ever seen on a dvd...

Just finished watching R2 Final Destination and my copy has got the alternative ending plus out takes plus if you click on the Logo in the middle of the screen you get all the info on who put the disk together and loads of other info, it also comes with interviews PC Game and theatrical trailer.

Not to mention that the film was very good, the 5.1 rocks the room

lol @ Poncho`s story

Although Im not sure a film of your daughters dream would have been quite as dramatic as Final Destinations plane crash scene. ;-)

Thank god she didn`t mention planes, it was just the exit sign thing, (scary enough though) then when the stewardess said "would you change seats" I couldn`t believe it AAAAAAAARRRRRGHHHHHHH
Made one hell of a thrill ride though, but not again thanks..
