The X Factor Winners Song

And they are f***ing covering Leonard Cohen`s `Hallelujah`. The Jeff Buckley version is one of my all time favourite songs and it`s going to be killed by this soulless cover. F*** you Simon Cowell!

If anybody else here feels the same, buy and download the Jeff Buckley version and lets get that to Number 1 instead! :)

I`m with Stantz - the Rufus Wainwright version (on the Shrek soundtrack) is brilliant.

Hate the Jeff Buckley version... the John Cale one is the best! (heard in the film Shrek, but replaced on the soundtrack by the Rufus Wainwright version ;) )

Alexandra`s version was significantly better than Buckley`s as well! :)

Jeff Buckley`s version is my favourite. I can`t stand the Rufus Wainwright version (I like the John Cale one though).

I wanted Alex (called Fash in our house for her uncanny resemblance to John Fashanu) to win from the beginning; but I preferred JLS`s version of Hallelujah. I really warmed to JLS once they stopped dressing like something off of CBBC.

YouTube.

A brilliant side-effect of Jeff Buckley`s version getting to #1 would be also beating that smug c*** Peter Kaye.
