Prison Break 4 - starts next week on Sky!

There already is a PB4 thread, but it had big spoilers from the outset, so I thought a new thread was in order :)

Sky 1 are showing episodes 1 and 2 back to back from 9:00 Tuesday 2nd Sep, which is a day after it airs in USA.

Actually the fact that there is a season 4 gives away 3 big spoilers ;)

I wonder if season 4 will suck as mightily as season 3.

Signs point to yes with...

SPOILER:
Sara turning up with her head still attached

I really enjoyed the first 2 episodes tbh. The Sara thing was handled okay but I do have a few questions about it

-Why didn`t she go looking for Scofield whilst he was in Sona or at least contact Lincoln? Or even in the 3 weeks that they have been out of Sona?
-Scofield made a point of saying he wasn`t leaving Sara behind again but Lincoln didn`t seem so concerned about LJ

Overall though I think it was a return to its roots and was really enjoyable. Quite liked the new cop bloke who is on their side.

I enjoyed it but did find a few parts annoying, after all the events of the last season, the characters who died, the attempts at escape and all the work involved, the fact Bellick, T bag and Sucre are free was explained in a 2 second throwaway comment of `oh there was a riot at Sona and it burned down and all the prisoners escaped` strange that in the last series it was so hard to do anything yet a riot and a fire and all the prisoners manage to avoid the armed trigger happy guards and electric fences

Michaels instant tattoo removal which for someone who had just been `peeled` seemed rather pain free the next day :/

my thoughts same as robert really.....wont stop watching it as the missus is completely in love with Wentworth so it`ll largely be unavoidable in our house....

Yep same as Robert SPOILER:
that laser tattoo stuff far too fetched - even if they had put a caption on screen saying `2 weeks later` or something then maybe it would have been possible!

SPOILER:
Also seemed a bit of an `Oceans 11/ A Team / X Files` thing going on when they were given a warehouse full of gadgets and a bloke with brains to help them.

Still sticking with it though.

And what`s the betting the decoder gadget they need is hidden in a prison?

Still, I`m like people above, my missus likes matey boy so we`ll carry on watching. She`ll probably get to see more of him now he won`t have to wear a jumper all the time to cover his tatts.

From AICN

Quote:
Fox seems to be getting ready to stick a fork in "Prison Break" with a possible two-part series finale.

The four-year-old series, from director Brett Ratner (the "Rush Hour" series) and writer Paul Scheuring (the 2003 Vin Diesel vehicle "A Man Apart"), has been teetering on extinction since season one.

From The Hollywood Reporter:

Fox might run the bonus material as two additional episodes in the spring, though that is considered unlikely because "Prison" has struggled in the ratings this fall and the remaining six episodes of its original 22-show order weren`t on the network`s recently released midseason schedule.
