The bloke was a legend, which is used too often to describe people who don`t really deserve it.
Bloke slags him off in a book, so bhe takes to him with a baseball bat.
Whilst in jail, he organises a fleet of limos to take his inmates to a day release thing.
Superb. :D
the stunt bike has been re-issued.. i think its on firebox..
*why we clap..?

I saw him attemp to jump numerous buses at Wembley stadium when I was a kid, he broke both legs that time. Loved my stunt bike!
RIP fella!

Evel`s biggest failings were two-fold.
1/ He insisted on using Harley Davidsons (Hardly Ablesons..), when other bikes far more suited to jumping were available.
2/ He insisted on wearing crap protective gear when better stuff was available.
I dare say that`s what made him famous though.
There are plenty of people around who have jumped higher/farther then Evel, and made it...but can you name any of them... :/ ;)
Motorsport and Elvis had a baby and his name was Evel Knievel
and he just jumped and left the building
ladies and gentleman...
thank you very much
RIP
