Deliveries from Play

I know it`s xmas but is anyone else having delivery problems from Play?
I ordered Moulin Rouge (R1) it was posted on the 13th December and it still hasn`t arrived yet :( It normally doesn`t take this long i was just putting it down to the time of year, only problem being it`s a xmas present, and Play did say deadline date for deliveries was the 18th December.

???

Play247 despatch times are slow due to xmas, however you are saying it was posted out to you on the 13th, therefore if you have not received it by now then it is likely it has been `lost` in the post!.

I doubt very much play247 will send you another in time for xmas

Don`t worry too much. I received a dvd from play 9 days after the posted date on their tracking scheme. Probably arrive in next 2 days. Pretty shabby though.

Call me a cynic, but I tend not to trust Mr Temporary Xmas Postman.

We`ve had a few examples of presents and vouchers not arriving at their destination earlier in the year. I`m gonna lay off ordering anything until after Xmas.

But hey, that`s just me!

It`s Royal Mail, they have been screwing with Play for the last month, including losing packages, delaying deliveries etc.

Royal Mail did the same thing last year with DV-Depot when they refused to deliver DV-Depots packages, which meant many packages were stuck at a customs clearing warehouse for a month.

I am still waiting for a package from play that was sent on the 14th, first of all this was listed as processing even though it has been sent, but the processing message was caused by a computer error which didn`t flag the disc as sent (seems to happen sometimes when play are very busy) even though they had been sent.

I ordered Scary Movie 2 on 13th, posted 14th, and still not arrived. It must be something with play, as my mate had ordered Fast and the Furious (now in stock at play) from Movietyme on Sunday, and that arrived yesterday morning.

The final disc arrived from play today...............so one thing i can suggest is go to play website, log in and look at items bought.......play sometimes put in the recorded delivery number meaning u can track it on the royal mail site.Hope this helps.
