Page 1 of Oh FFS!!!!!!!!

Fed up of utter TWATS parking directly over our bit of path (on double yellow lines!), meaning to cross the road mum had to push my wheelchair through churned-up grass verge and then step right out to see what was coming because of the parked car, mum bought a sign for a tenner explaining access is needed and people *have* been a lot more considerate.

Until now. Mum went to the shops this morning and noticed that some other utter *TWAT* had come along with a screwdriver in the middle of the night and *stolen* my sign! Another annoying thing is that I was awake all last night while they were doing it!

Who is TWATTISH enough to steal disabled parking signs anyway?! It must be someone who needs one *and* is a c***, anyone who is just p***ed off by being asked to park 3ft further away would just ignore it or deface it, surely.

What can I do to make the next one harder to steal? Thinking some sort of metal version of a cable tie, but no idea really. Superglue as well as screws and cable ties??

Can anyone recommend a cheap and good-service sign place online?

I need to put "Whoever nicked the original sign is a c***ing motherf***er and I hope they die of whatever is wrong with them!" on the new one, so I need a place that allows swears.

No more nails. I swear by the stuff, and I`ve never used it. The previous tenants at our house glued a couple of coins to the pathway leading to our house with it, and I`m buggered if I can get them off.

Pretty low thing to do though, steal your sign. What goes around comes around though... so go steal someone elses.

Next time you put the sign up, smear dog s*** around the back of it.

If the sign is screwed up just get a drill bit about the same size as the screw head and drill the screw so there is no place for the srewdriver to lock onto. Phillips screws are best for this.

We have a neighbour who is deliberately making life as difficult as possible at the moment.

Just get some security screws from the hardware store when you put the next one up.
Like ordinary screws but there is no undo option due to the shape of the slots.

As computer literate as you are how about a s/h pc and a webcam covering the outside.
My mate has a four camera system covering his house and outside all put together for buttons.

Seriously though, some folk are unbelievable towards disabled folk. As I hobble about with me stick, it was obviously the deluxe model I inadvertantly bought. The bugger was obviously made by klingons, who secreted their cloaking device in it, because I must be sodding invisible. People just walk towards you all the time and expect you to get out of their way. Such ignorance I find inexplicable >:(

Tamper proofing the screws should help stop somebody copying my example.
