A cautionary tale for camera phone voyeurs

Matthew Smart (Reviewer) posted this on Monday, 1st October 2007, 17:02

Clicky

This fella lives a street away from me, and although the story`s provided a fair few laughs, I can`t help but think about the waste of resources used to bring the poor, sad bastard to `justice`. :/

Should this kind of harmless, albeit odd, street voyeurism be punished like any other sex crime? I can`t help but think that if a lass was found in possession of a camera phone full of random lad`s arses, the outcome would be vastly different.

He said outside court: "I will not be doing it anymore because the police have taken my phones off me."

So not because it`s wrong and he realises the error of his ways then :D

Aww bless him. I nearly cried when I read that bit. :/

They placed him on the Sex Offenders` Register???

Now everyone will think he`s a paedo instead of a weirdo.

It does seem a bit tenuous. :/
I mean,I had my photo taken with some lovely girls on holiday.
I also took photos of them, without their express permission.
They were just `there` and I took photos of them.
Sex offender ?
Hardly...I hope... :/ :D

With specific regard to this bloke.
Knowing Peterhead as I do (Grimsby, without the glamour or hope),I`m just wondering how he found so many worth photographing... :¦
